huge sand castle
using almost 4,000 metric tonnes of sand, sculptors have built a 16 metre tower showing a number of famous landmarks the world record for tallest sand castle is here. People spent 3 weeks building it in western Germany city.

The Parents Disgrace
Chapter I
Sophia was a descendant from a giant’s family. As you can see, poor little Sophia is not a giant. In fact, Sophia was the tiniest dwarf the world has ever seen. Her family rejected her and sent her off to fight for herself. Her parents sent her away in a bottle of coke Zero. They were lazy as heck, and always lounged about eating chicken-flavoured potato crisps and . . . coke, and fanta and doritos and. . . well you get the point. They were lazy slobs. All they cared about was filling there flabby bellies. So they sent Sophia out to sea. She drifted for a while; the waves crashing against the bottle. Then on the horizon she saw a storm approaching.

My speech was about coding at school. When I got up I felt nervous. Then I felt better when I started.It was an amazing feeling I did really well. Everybody laughed at the things that they should. I only made 1 mistake. In the end I came 2nd. I was soooo happy.

Hi our names are Aaron, Ethan and Ossian. We made this game called Mixtr.io to play you choose either A slither.io guy diep.io guy or a agar.io guy then you battle.
to kill a slither.io guy you have to make them run into your body.
How a diep.io guy can kill you diep.io guys can kill you by shooting you and then you get smaller when they shoot you until you disappear.
To kill a diep.io guy you split on him or you make him run into you if you are versing a smasher and he runs into you you will get smaller and he will only lose health.
13 DEATH LANE
Death Lane
Yup we lost the deal. If you’re wondering what the deal was It was a deal a stupid deal but we made it. it was if we won our agario game against ƬψƬ then they would go to 13 death lane and that was not a nice place to be.
But we lost. Also if you think about it the deal was not fair. 3 against all of the ƬψƬ clan. But a deal’s a deal We had to go to 13 death lane. Their was rumores that it was haunted by headless ghost who was searching for his head and he did not know his head was actually stuck halfway up the chimney. So we lost the deal and had to go to 13 death lane.As we were walking down. We approached 13 death lane and i saw the street sign for 13 death lane. It was old. It was also very rusty metal sign.As we walked past the metal sign a gust of wind ruffled my hair and then a big bang filled the air and then we screamed and ran halfway down the path before we noticed that it was just a sign. But then we heard another big bang and ran into THE HOUSE we looked out the window and it was just a bird who activated 500 kg of dynamite and that’s where they got the big bang theory.

Term 2 Holiday Writing
Ding dong, That would be my doorbell not yours so no need to get up to answer it. Anyway I went to answer it, and it was my grandma coming early to hide the chocolate eggs.I tried to peek at ware she was hiding them, I had no such luck, as the doorbell rang again. It was my cousins (Sophea and William) and my aunty and uncle. We were then allowed to try and find the eggs. First I went up the back to look. I found a little bunny and another little egg which had M&Ms in it. Once they had all been found we shared them all out evenly.

Science In A Van Visit
Today we had a visit from the awesome people from ‘Science in a Van’. The morning started with some fun science tricks where… Dry Ice cloud in a pump bottle, crushing a heated up L&P can with water, pulling a tablecloth out from a table with cups on it without them falling.
I learnt that there are 3 states of matter
- Solid
- liquid
- gas
I also learnt… That gold is only made of atoms.
Another cool thing I learnt was… Nothing can move unless it has a force pushing or pulling it.
It was really fun seeing science in a van I learnt heaps and enjoyed it lots 5 star to anyone who wants to see it.

Instead of ‘Said’
Instead of ‘Said’
Said doesn’t tell us much about how the character is feeling so let’s try some different words instead of said…
E.g “Sit down’” the teacher said...compared to…’Sit down!” the teacher screamed
In the first example we really can’t tell much about how the teacher is feeling because the word ‘said’ doesn’t give away much meaning but in the second example we know the teacher is angry because ‘screamed’ is a strong verb that gives away a lot of meaning.
Think of other verbs we can use instead of said - try looking in your books. There are hundreds of different possibilities that can add a lot of meaning to your writing!
